Bogolan is both a traditional fabric and a dyeing technique that originated in Mali.
It is a traditional and ancestral know-how which draws its ingredients from nature: water, earth, sun, natural pigments.
Several African ethnic groups such as the Dogons, the Bobos, the Senoufos, the Miniankas, the Malinkés and the Bambaras practiced this traditional art.
Then, it spread throughout West Africa, especially in Guinea and Burkina Faso.
